PLAY POLICY

 

🔒 PLAY NY, LLC Private Event Rules and Policies

These Rules and Policies are established to ensure the safety, integrity, and operational standards of PLAY NY, LLC at 188 Main St., Poughkeepsie, NY 12601, and to protect the interests of both PLAY NY, LLC and Kearny Realty and Development Group.

By booking a private event, the undersigned Client/Host agrees to abide by and enforce all of the following rules and policies for themselves, their guests, vendors, and agents.

🚭 Premises Conduct & Safety Rules

* No Smoking Policy: Strictly Prohibited is smoking of any kind (including but not limited to cigarettes, cigars, vapes, or e-cigarettes) in or on the entire premises, including entryways, sidewalks immediately adjacent to the building, and all interior spaces.

* Parking and Loitering Restrictions:

   * NO PARKING or Loitering is permitted at any time in the Queen City parking lot located to the rear of the building. This lot is private property and unauthorized use may result in towing at the vehicle owner's expense.

   * The Client/Host and their guests are responsible for finding legal, approved, and authorized off-site parking.

* Noise Restrictions: NO Loud Noise is permitted in or around the premises. The Client/Host must manage music, entertainment, and guest volume to be respectful of neighboring businesses and residents, especially upon arrival and departure. All local noise ordinances must be strictly adhered to.

📜 Financial & Cancellation Policy

* Final Sales and Deposits: All deposits, event fees, and sales related to the private event booking are final and non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation or termination by the Client/Host or PLAY NY, LLC.

* Right to Cancellation: PLAY NY, LLC reserves the unconditional right to cancel, terminate, or immediately shut down any event, whether prior to, during, or after the scheduled event time, if any of these Rules or Policies are violated. In the event of such a cancellation, all event fees and deposits remain non-refundable.

🛡️ Insurance and Vendor Requirements

* Mandatory Insurance Coverage: All off-site catering companies, third-party hosts, performers, artists, or any external vendor providing services for the event must provide proof of general liability insurance.

* Additional Insured Requirement: This insurance must specifically name PLAY NY, LLC and Kearny Realty and Development Group as additionally insured parties. Failure to provide this documentation at least [Insert Required Days, e.g., 7 days] prior to the event will result in the immediate prohibition of the vendor/party from accessing the premises, and may result in the event's cancellation.

📢 Advertising and Promotion

* Unauthorized Advertising Prohibited: The Client/Host, their agents, and their vendors shall not engage in any unauthorized advertising, promotion, or marketing that uses the name, logo, or likeness of PLAY NY, LLC or the premises.

* Required Approval: All advertising, promotional materials, or public announcements regarding the event must be submitted to and approved in writing by PLAY NY, LLC prior to distribution or publication.

Acknowledgement of Rules:

By executing the event contract, the Client/Host acknowledges that they have read, understand, and agree to enforce all rules and policies stated above, and accept the financial and cancellation consequences of any violation.
